Did you know there are people that will put a lit cigarette against your body and hold it there? I had many, many burns when I was rescued. Did you know people will leave someone like me alone in a garage without food and water? I guess that?s from the shame of hurting me, bending my psyche so far?.. Did you know there are people that will embrace someone like me? They will rub your back and put a coat on you in cold weather also. Did you know humans can see the desire to trust again in someone like me? Humans like redemption. I?m a wonder. I don?t like most other dogs and a lot of people, but I love those who love me.
